We are seeking an outstanding leader to head our Religious Education department at Ravenswood in a permanent full-time capacity, commencing at the beginning of 2024. This position is responsible for the continuous improvement and delivery of the Religious Education curriculum P â 12 and includes the coordination and teaching of the HSC Studies of Religion I and/or II courses.
To be successful in securing this position you will have demonstrated teaching ability encompassing proven experience in Religious Education for students from Years P â 12 and an interest in Social Justice initiatives. You will have an understanding and appreciation of the Uniting Church and the ability to assist with worship, liturgy and retreat programmes.
At Ravenswood, we wish to excite students' interest in pursuing their studies both in the classroom and through co-curricular experiences. To be successful in this position, you will be an experienced educator with a proven record of success as a Religious Education Teacher and have experience coordinating and leading a department. In addition, you will be a strong administrator, highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities, and will have the ability to provide inspirational, instructional leadership to a committed and professional team.
