Venue Manager

Beach House Bar & Grill is looking for a motivated, passionate, energetic, and experienced Venue Manager to lead our team at our Coomera venue.

Located within Westfield Coomera, Beach House Bar & Grill brings a relaxed, beachside-inspired dining and drinking experience to the Gold Coast/Brisbane corridor, serving up quality food, cocktails and good times across our bar, grill and events spaces. As part of the Venu Plus venue group, Beach House offers real career pathways across a growing portfolio of hospitality venues.

About the Role

The Venue Manager role is hands-on, taking full ownership of the day-to-day and strategic running of the venue. The role works across all aspects of food and beverage operations with a focus on exceptional customer experiences, team leadership and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Full accountability for all Food and Beverage operations, leading a team of assistant managers, bartenders, chefs and food attendants
• Working closely with the Venu Plus operations team on venue strategy, marketing and events
• Ensuring delivery of the highest quality service, product & presentation at all times
• Ensuring that hygiene, health, safety, and security rules are adhered to at all times
• The responsible service of alcohol
• Overseeing POS and ordering systems
• Process and procedure development
• Roster and timesheet management
• Supplier negotiations and stock ordering
• Operational and sales reporting, with P&L and budget accountability
• Cost efficiency and stock management
• Recruitment, employee training and development
• Employee health, safety monitoring and reporting

Required Skills and Experience

• A strong food and beverage background with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a venue management or senior leadership role
• A current RMLV certificate
• Highly developed knowledge of hospitality best practice methods, procedures and workplace health and safety
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L and budget management
• Proven time management and organisational skills
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing environments
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
