We are seeking a

Lead Mechanical Engineer

to provide both technical and people leadership within our Brisbane office. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary project delivery from a mechanical perspective while managing and developing a team of engineers and designers. You will act as a key technical authority, ensuring engineering quality, mentoring team members and building strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities

Lead mechanical engineering teams across studies and project execution phases. Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to engineers and designers. Take accountability for discipline deliverables, budgets, schedules and quality outcomes. Lead design reviews and engineering assurance activities. Build and maintain effective client, vendor and stakeholder relationships. Manage team resources and support workforce planning activities. Review complex engineering challenges and provide expert technical solutions. Support project proposals, estimates and business development initiatives. Promote a strong safety culture and engineering excellence across the team. About You

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. RPEQ registration. 10+ years' experience in a detailed design environment. 5+ years' experience leading engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Strong experience in mineral processing plants, materials handling and process infrastructure. Experience with engineering design software such as FluidFlow3, AFT Impulse and Sidewinder is advantageous. Demonstrated experience managing technical teams and project delivery. Strong client-facing, leadership and mentoring skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability. Right to work in Australia. Why Join DRA?
