About the organisation
Latrobe Community Health Service (LCHS) is an independent, not-for-profit health service, with a core interest to improve the health of the community. Originating in Gippsland, and following rapid growth in recent years, services include: general practice; nursing; allied health; dental; counselling and psychology; gambling support; alcohol and drug treatment; migrant and refugee settlement services; social connection and, carer support services. LCHS also provides GP, allied health and aged care services in metro Melbourne, and Local Area Coordination and Early Childhood services for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across Victoria.
About the role
The Executive Director – Technology (CIO) position is a newly created role for LCHS. The role will address an uplift and consolidation of a highly diverse range of legacy applications. It will identify a roadmap and IT architecture that ultimately provides for a more seamless experience of technology. The position will ensure a strategic perspective is taken to the technology portfolio identifying opportunities that can be leveraged through contemporary technology including AI and data analytics. With an appetite to integrate the different segments in which LCHS operates, having a single view of the client will elevate the customer experience the organisation can offer. The remit extends to maturing LCHS’s approach to both project and change management while fostering a highly customer centric ethos within the team.
About you
As an accomplished Chief Information Officer you will see the appeal of this role for the opportunity to build a modern client centric- technology ecosystem. You will bring significant experience in ICT management, including project management and skills in Board level engagement. Your ability to manage senior stakeholders is underpinned by your previous success in delivering digital transformation. Spending two days in Morwell each week is a prerequisite for this role as part of inspiring others to contribute to the journey of change LCHS is undertaking.
