Job Description We are thrilled to present an exceptional and rare opportunity for a dynamic leader to join Oaks Cable Beach Resort as our Hotel Manager. This pivotal position is responsible for overseeing all hotel and restaurant operations for the property.
Reporting to a supportive and seasoned Cluster General Manager, this role offers a remarkable opportunity for an experienced Front Office Manager or Assistant Manager to step into their first Hotel Manager role.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Draw on your experience, initiative, driveand strategic approach to deliver an exceptional product for our guests
Accountability for the day to day profitability, presentation and operation of the Hotel and onsite restaurant
Managingall body corporate and guest relations within the property
Responsible for making strategic decisions relating to increasing RevPAR for the company
Lead a team of hotel professionals, providing guidance, coaching and mentoring
Collate and analyse data as required to support strategic decisions
Qualifications To be successful will requirethe following skillsand experience:
Demonstratedoperational and financial management experience within a Hotel environment
Strategic business acumen and commercial businessknowledge
A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses
People management in recruiting, driving and supporting teams to ensure a high performing team-culture including an extensive portfolio in successful coaching, mentoring and development
Theability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners and staff
Effectiveverbal, written and interpersonal communication
A strong commitment to continuous improvement and learning
Ability to reside onsite and manage caretaking responsibilities for the property after hours
