As one of Australasia's fastest-growing startups, we've hand-picked a world-class team of kind, ambitious, generous, and smart humans and now, we’re looking for a superstar Head of Finance to own and lead our finance function. This role will be instrumental in realising Tracksuit’s growth aspirations. As our Head of Finance , you’ll have the opportunity to build an elite team to drive financial insight and strategy across the business.
Please note - while this role is listed for Sydney, AUS - we are also open to looking at applicants based in Auckland, NZ.
Some Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Drive the decision making process of the executive team and board by providing insights and recommendations in relation to key financial activities.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support Tracksuit’s growth and market expansion.
- Team Leadership: Build and develop a high calibre finance team.
- Financial Modelling: Build up the financial modelling capability at Tracksuit to empower teams in scenario modelling and strategic decision-making.
- Reporting & Metrics: Own the execution of board reporting materials, regular metrics reporting, and other reporting to properly assess the health and execution of Tracksuit.
- Financial Control: Oversee day-to-day financial processes and continue looking for ways to optimise our systems and technology stack as we scale.
- ESOP Management: Manage our ESOP scheme, including rolling out options to new joiners and ensuring that we communicate ESOP in a simple and human way.
- Risk Management: Keep an eye on financial risks and opportunities, flagging anything that might impact Tracksuit’'s financial health and stability.
That's the role, so who are you?
- You’ve had experience in a senior finance role with a focus on SaaS financial management
- You’ve grown a finance function from scratch or from startup to scale up and are comfortable working in a high-growth environment
- You’re able to analyse and clearly communicate the financial impact of potential business initiatives, investments, etc. You’ve got strong analytical capabilities and business acumen, with the ability to simplify and communicate complex information in a rigorous but consumable way
- You’ve got an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality to go deep into business analysis and understand details while managing Exec-level communication
- You have the ability to connect with everyone around you; you will need to influence cross-functional teams to understand challenges, blockers and expectations
