Purpose of Role Are you a seasoned financial professional with a passion for strategic collaboration? We have an exciting opening for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic team! Role Overview: As the Director of Finance (Senior Finance Business Partner) , you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence across our organization. Your primary mission will be to collaborate closely with our senior leadership teams, including Managing Directors and Executive Directors, to deliver impactful financial insights and strategic recommendations. By leveraging your financial acumen, you’ll optimize business performance and contribute to our growth trajectory. Responsibilities & Accountabilities Partner with the senior leadership teams to providing financial insights and advice and insights to help drive operational and strategic business performance.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and be seen as a trusted advisor and partner
Deliver a range of monthly management reporting to internal stakeholders, monitoring results and presenting key insights and calls-to-action to improve business performance.
Support the business planning process, including developing budgets, forecasts and key KPIs for internal stakeholders relevant to delivering QTC strategy.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement strategies that will optimise business performance.
Help establish business performance KPI’s and measure and report performance
Help drive efficiency and productivity initiatives ensure prudent use of public finances
Support with the development of any project business cases as required.
Participate and drive strategic initiatives as identified by the Executive Director Finance and/or Chief Operating Officer for the broader organisation.

Financial, economic, industry and statistical analysis skills with high attention to detail.
Negotiation, facilitation, communication skills suitable to stakeholders.
Research, reporting and advocacy to a level suitable for publication.
Behavioural Competencies Integrity, including upholding strong professional and ethical standards and discretion in maintaining confidentiality.
Superior relationship management skills, including proven ability to foster strong, open and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Stakeholders include the internal senior leadership team, staff and external financial market counterparts, Treasury staff, and key industry authorities.
Ability to communicate complex messages effectively to a variety of audiences.

Leadership Competencies Demonstrated experience working as a member of the senior leadership team..
Proven experience leading and managing direct reports including developing talent, communication of professional standards and expectations, setting key performance indicators, and reward in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Proven strategic thinker and ability to deliver financial market leading approaches including consideration and management of risks associated with balance sheet and liquid asset management.
Ability to identify and respond to financial markets risk event, such as a fixed income liquidity crisis.
Demonstrate talent and capacity across a broad spectrum of skills needed to deliver business success.
Qualifications Essential Tertiary qualification and professional practice certification in finance or related discipline
CA/CPA qualified or post graduate qualification in finance or related discipline
Desirable Training, qualification or knowledge of Taxation (FBT, income tax, GST and payroll tax)
Funding and markets
Knowledge of risk management practices and standards
Experience Essential Proven 10+ years of finance business partnering experience within Financial Services companies, especially those dealing with Australian financial markets and Treasury
Advanced analytical skills with a proven ability to identify key insights impacting business performance and strategies to address
Exceptional Xcel and PowerPoint skills
Customer focused and results oriented
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex messages
Experience in presenting to senior stakeholders including C-suite and Board members (as required)
Demonstrate behavioural skills in acting as a thought leader, upholding strong professional and ethical standards
