If you are looking for a varied role that is a mix of liaising with customers, performing general administrative tasks and assisting the Manager with ad hoc duties, then this role is absolutely perfect for you! Occasionally you will also assist with the warehouse environment too. As they say, variety is the spice of life!

This is a great entry level role for a junior wanting to build a long term career within an office environment! Full training will be provided - you just need the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide general administrative support to the team
• Answer incoming calls in relation to orders, product and general queries
• Check on back orders, advising customers of ETA’s or if any hold ups
• Assist with tender documents including using Government portals
• Assist with quoting
• Manage email inbox and forward emails to appropriate staff members or deal with where can
• Assist with booking freight
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets
• Data entry - invoicing, enter purchase orders etc
• Maintain price lists - keep information up to date
• Ad hoc administrative tasks

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in administration would be a bonus, however open to a school leaver or experience in retail, hospitality or similar
• Accurate typing speed of 45wpm +
• Intermediate MSOffice skills
• Team player attitude
• Excellent people and rapport building skills
• High attention to detail and take pride in your work
• Seeking a full-time role Monday to Friday which is office based at Murarrie
