With a strong project pipeline and growing demand within the digital infrastructure sector, our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of major mission‑critical developments. This position offers the opportunity to lead high‑performing project teams, influence technical outcomes, and work on some of Australia's most significant data centre projects. You'll be joining a well‑established national business known for delivering complex engineering solutions across the built environment, property, infrastructure, and critical facilities sectors. The Role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across projects while acting as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders. You'll oversee the design and delivery of sophisticated HVAC and mechanical services solutions, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical and commercial standards. Key responsibilities include:

Leading mechanical design and project delivery across data centre and critical facilities projects. Acting as the primary technical authority for HVAC and mechanical systems. Managing project stakeholders, including clients, contractors and specialist consultants. Reviewing and approving engineering documentation, calculations and design deliverables. Providing mentorship and guidance to engineers within the team. Contributing to project strategy, resource planning and technical excellence initiatives. Supporting business growth through client engagement and project development opportunities. About You

We're interested in speaking with experienced building services professionals who are ready to take ownership of technically challenging projects and contribute to the growth of a specialist team. You will ideally possess: A degree in Mechanical Engineering. Demonstrated experience within building services consulting. Strong HVAC design and technical delivery capability. Experience delivering complex, large-scale building or infrastructure projects. Data centre, mission‑critical, healthcare or similar critical environment project experience highly regarded. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Chartered status or progress toward professional registration will be highly regarded. What’s on offer?
