Construction Contracts Administrator

Job Description

CoreStaff Darwin have a permanent Full Time Opportunity available for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join a well known Aboriginal owned, award winning construction business in Darwin.

Delivering residential, commercial and public infrastructure projects across the Territory. With a strong local footprint and a commitment to creating genuine training and employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians, this is an opportunity to join a business focused on both quality construction and meaningful outcomes.

About the Role & Responsibilities:

Preparing, reviewing and administering subcontractor agreements and contracts

Managing procurement packages, scopes of work and subcontractor engagement

Assessing subcontractor claims, variations and progress payments

Maintaining project cost tracking, forecasting and commercial reporting

Managing contract documentation, correspondence and registers

Supporting project managers with budgets, variations and contractual requirements

Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders

Assisting with project reporting and ensuring contractual deadlines are met

Supporting projects through practical completion and final account close-out

About you

Previous Contracts Administrator experience within commercial, residential or civil construction

Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and subcontractor administration

Experience managing variations, progress claims and project costs

Excellent attention to detail and document management skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Confidence working both independently and as part of a project team

Relevant construction, quantity surveying, project management or commercial qualifications highly regarded
