We currently have a fixed term (12 months), full-time opportunity for a Customer and Payments Consultant to join a highly engaged, collaborative and professional Operations department. The Customer and Payments Consultant will report to the Customer and Payment Team Leader.

The Customer and Payment Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that we provide a high level of quality service and assistance to our customers and staff. This role must also ensure that this level of service and assistance applies consistently to all of the functions performed by the Customer and Payments department, and in addition, maintain a strong relationship to our third party suppliers to facilitate the above.

What you will be doing

Comply with Bank Australia operating policies and procedures at all times

Perform operational tasks such as: Payment Investigations

Direct Entry Processing

OSKO / BPay enquires

Ensure that tasks are completed within established timeframes

Ensure assigned training is up to date at all times

Contribute to the continuous improvement of Operations products and services in regard to delivery and the identification and development of new systems, processes and procedures

Perform other duties consistent with the classification of the position, as directed by Bank Australia management

What you will bring

Ability to be adaptable and to prioritise work and meet deadlines

Accuracy and attention to detail

Knowledge in MS Word and Excel

A desire to learn and expand existing skills

Ability to communicate efficiently within a team environment

Working knowledge of our Core Banking system
