The Opportunity
As a Senior Investment Analyst reporting directly to the Director of Research & Portfolio Management, your role will be integral to advancing our wealth management capabilities. You'll be at the forefront of managing and enhancing our Approved Product List (APL), focusing on unlisted assets including property, private equity, hedge funds, and private debt. Your expertise will guide research, data analytics, and the overall administration of these investments, ensuring our strategies align with client goals and market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Engage in proactive monitoring and reporting on our portfolio of existing fund managers, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
Identify and assess new investment opportunities, presenting findings and recommendations for enhancing our investment offerings.
Lead in-depth analytical research to refine portfolio strategies and improve individual asset class performance within model portfolios.
Conduct comprehensive asset class and market research to bolster our investment thesis, crafting engaging materials for both internal stakeholders and clients.
Support the Research and Portfolio Management team with tailored analysis, enhancing decision-making processes.
About You
You're a driven professional with:
At least 5 years of experience in investment analysis, with a preference for backgrounds in unlisted investments.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
A profound passion for investment strategy and research.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of our clients and markets.
Strong analytical skills, capable of assessing complex data into actionable insights.
A solid foundation in finance or a related field, augmented by experience in managed funds research.
Expertise in assessing investment strategies across multiple asset classes.
The ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet stakeholder expectations.
Outstanding communication skills, facilitating clear and impactful exchanges of information.
