ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a practical, reliable team member to join our timber, plasterboard and trade sales team. This role is hands‑on and varied, with a mix of customer service, warehouse work and stock handling.

You’ll help load and unload products, pick and pack orders, serve customers at the trade counter, and keep the yard and warehouse safe, tidy and running well.

Our store operates six days per week, and this role may require Saturday work on a rostered basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE This role includes a mix of yard, warehouse, delivery and customer service duties, including:

Safely handle, store and move stock

Pick, pack and load customer orders

Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organised and safe

Assist trade and retail customers with enquiries

Complete customer deliveries when required

Check goods against delivery paperwork

Operate forklifts, equipment and vehicles safely

Take part in product training with industry brands

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Current Forklift Licence (LF) - Essential

Current Manual Driver Licence - Essential

Demonstrated forklift operating experience in a busy work environment

Physically fit with the ability to safely lift and manually handle products

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities

Safety focus for yourself, your team and customers

Positive attitude with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service
