About the Role:

Matrix Systems & Technologies Inc is looking for a talented Full Stack Java Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical systems supporting the Department of Homeland Security in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. If you hold an active DHS clearance and are passionate about building robust, scalable solutions, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain full stack Java-based applications for DHS programs and initiatives

Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices using Java/Spring Boot frameworks

Develop responsive front-end interfaces using modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and QA engineers

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives

Ensure application security, performance, and compliance with federal IT standards

Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Requirements:

Active DHS clearance required

3+ years of full stack development experience with Java and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot)

Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks

Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience working in Agile development environments
