About the role
As a Construction Supervisor you will be responsible for managing the home building process, in the domestic home building market and/or wholesale/medium density division, to guarantee each project is built in a timely manner and to a high standard thereby ensuring our clients dream home becomes a reality whilst ensuring our clients expectations are met or exceeded. You will work autonomously under limited direction and will oversee multiple builds simultaneously, whilst driving processes and procedures within the team under business directives.
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Plan, schedule, and supervise the construction of new residential, wholesale and medium density dwellings.
Ensure building sites are maintained to a high standard, meeting all OHS requirements and quality assurance
Present self and building sites at a professional standard understanding that potential clients may view sites whilst in the decision-making phase.
Guide clients and/or their stakeholders through the building process, answering queries, updating them on progress, conducting onsite inspections at various stages etc.
Co-ordinate and manage trades, suppliers, establish and maintain a reliable trade base.
Ensure building projects stay on target meeting strict budgets.
Report back to clients, staff and contractors within set time periods.
Ensure that all required processes and systems are correctly followed and completed within required timeframes.
Supervision and organisation of all contractors, suppliers and other people/organisations as required.
Apply high level knowledge of building and trade requirements in line with building standards, codes and legislation.
About you
You must be a self-motivated, successful, results orientated construction supervisor with demonstrated abilities to lead and mentor. To succeed you must:
Have previous experience as a Construction Supervisor
Demonstrate strong integrity and respect
Be a strong team player with a driven personality
Be customer focussed, looking at the entire construction process through the eyes of the client
Be competent in the technical aspects of construction
Be fully versed in all aspects of OHS
Be energetic, enthusiastic professional with excellent presentation
Be able to think fast and problem solve on the go
