This is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Canin Accounts Receivable team, where you will be able to kick-start your career within Royal Canin and the broader Mars business.
Reporting into the Financial Operations Manager and working with automated business systems, become the expert in the Accounts Receivable process and educate the team on how our Bot and upgraded technology will lead the Accounts team into an exciting period of growth!
Please note: this will initially be a fixed term contract.
What are we looking for? Qualification in Accounting/Data Science/Finance/Engineering
Passion for development and growth
Team player with excellent collaboration skills
Demonstrated experience working with technology, modular accounting software exposure is an added bonus
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Required knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills desired.
Good oral and written communication skills (including negotiation) is required.
Must display tact, diplomacy and understanding necessary to deal with people and situations in a professional manner.
Strong analytical and interpersonal persuasion skills required.
What will be your key responsibilities? Assist with processing and allocation of customer receipts received via EFT, credit card and Bpay against correct customer account when required
Monitor accounts receivable to ensure payments are received within trading terms
Investigate and resolve customer account enquiries and communicate resolutions
Work in conjunction with Master Data Officer in order to maintain accurate customer database
Becoming an expert in our core technical capabilities, which you will then be able to lead and educate others on
Liaise with key account managers and sales representatives on outstanding customer matters, such as outstanding account balances, missing rebates and claims
Maintain a filing system for all accounts receivable documents
Ensure a high level of customer service with internal and external customers.
