This Role:
The newly created role of Head of Cyber Security will be responsible for safeguarding this organisation’s significant digital assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and mitigating cyber threats.
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer,your team will be responsible for developing and executing this organisation’s cyber security strategy, including cyber security governance, threat monitoring and incident response arrangements, as well as the implementation of security controls to ensure the resilience and sustainability of its cyber security posture.
About You:
We seek candidates with formal tertiary qualifications in either Computer Science, Information Security or a related field, with a track record of successfully managing and executing enterprise-wide cyber security strategies across a large organisation.
You will also be an exceptional leader, possessing excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to influence and engage executives and board members,as well as cross-functional non-technical teams.
The broad scope of this role is rare in Western Australia. It is well suited to an exceptional cyber security leader.
