The Opportunity
The Enterprise Architect is a newly created position at the Ampcontrol Group, named one of Australia’s top 100 innovators.

The Ampcontrol group is embarking on a significant digital transformation. The Enterprise Architect will play a pivotal role in planning and implementing their future state architecture, informing technology investment, driving innovation, and ensuring the seamless integration of technology across all facets of the business.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager - Digital & Transformation, you will collaborate with senior management, business stakeholders, and digital teams to develop and implement strategic technology initiatives that support business growth and innovation.
You will work with business owners and the PMO/project teams to design the Ampcontrol Group's employee experience and target state architecture. You will also be responsible for founding and leading Architecture review boards and councils.

About You
You’ve got a broad understanding of architecture domains and demonstrated expertise in leading the development of enterprise-wide architecture frameworks, principles, and roadmaps in the domains of Business, Data, Applications, Infrastructure, Security, and Integration.
You can demonstrate hands-on experience with designing, documenting, and maintaining architecture landscapes, including current state, future state, and transition plans, in alignment with business goals and objectives, balancing short-term needs with longer-term thinking.
Your Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in Lead Architect or Enterprise Architect positions, including at least 2 years dedicated to defining and executing ICT or Digital strategies.
Broad experience working at a high level across multiple architecture domains (business, application, data, integration / API platforms and technology);
A solid history of developing and embedding architecture frameworks, principles, and roadmaps spanning all domains of Enterprise Architecture.
Clear and concise communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in alignment with business strategy & benefits.
Highly skilled and "hands-on" technologist with a track record in digital transformation, business solutions and technology investment.
Consultative and strategic problem-solving style, with the ability to analyse and unravel complex business and technology problems.
Demonstrated ability to effectively apply architectural principles, methodologies and best practices and translate objectives into actionable plans; and
Demonstrated track record in developing and delivering presentations, reports, and documents to executives, technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with the Microsoft ecosystem (ERP/CRM) is desirable.

Next steps
This position will be based in beautiful Newcastle and The Hunter Valley and a Hybrid working arrangement 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.
