The Role

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-focused Renderer to support the smooth operation of our Gatton plant. This hands-on role involves working with by-products processing, adhering to high safety standards, and ensuring compliance with AQIS and other industry requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to WHS protocols, including lockout procedures for water, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Safely handle and manage chemicals (Chemical Handling Certificate preferred or willingness to complete training)
• Clean machinery and processing areas, utilising hosing and foaming techniques to AQIS standards
• Understand and apply by-products processing procedures both practically and theoreticallyAccurately complete and manage English-written documentation
• Monitor and operate SCADA systems and gauges
• You have flexibility to work a rotating 24-hour roster (three 8-hour shifts) with occasional overtime as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and reliable plant operations

About You

• You have experience in a processing or manufacturing role, particularly in by-products or rendering, is preferred
• Chemical Handling Certification or willingness to undertake training
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and reading operational gauges
• Strong understanding of WHS standards and lockout procedures
• A proactive team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in a fast-paced environment
