Your Next Company
Our client is a large award-winning residential builder with decades of experience building many of South Australia's homes. They have a wide variety of designs for single storey and double storey dwellings to suit the needs of a range of buyers. They have an exciting new job as a Construction Manager which will oversee a team of Building Supervisors.
Your Next Role
Reporting to the Building Manager, you will oversee the team of up to 5 Supervisors. Some of your duties will include:
Act as a sounding board for Supervisors
Deal with clients
Ensure timelines for projects are bing met
Assign new projects to Supervisors
Act as a 2iC ofr the Building Manager and support them in their role
Oversee some of your own custom home builds
Meet quality standards and project timelines
Day to day management of trades on site, suppliers, completion of paperwork
Oversight of display centre
Coordinate and manage trades
Build working relationships with clients, trades and key stakeholders
Enforce OH&S regulations
ARE YOU A FIT?
To be considered successful, you will have experience as a Residential Supervisor working for a residential building company within Australia. Ideally you will have over 5 years of Residential Site Supervision. You may have mentored junior staff or been involved in training or coordinating other Supervisors. You will be self-driven, a great communicator, a strong leader, organised and have a lot of initiative with great communication and a professional demeanor.
