The Consulate General & Trade Commission of Pakistan, Sydney is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join the team. The position provides an exciting opportunity to support the administrative operations of the Consulate, coordinate office activities, and assist in ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the Mission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the smooth functioning of the Consulate's daily operations.
• Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors, handling inquiries, and directing correspondence.
• Prepare, format, and maintain official correspondence, reports, records, and documents.
• Maintain filing systems, databases, and office records in an organised manner.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence and provide timely responses or referrals.
• Assist with procurement, office supplies management, and coordination with service providers when required.
• Support arrangements for official meetings, events, and visits.
• Perform any other administrative duties assigned by the Consulate.

About you

• A minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Permanent working rights with no restrictions.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Digital literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle official information professionally.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
