Senior Process Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Brisbane on a permanent contract.
Reporting to the Discipline Lead Engineer, the successful applicant will be part of a busy project team delivering projects for our clients in the Oil & Gas, water and renewables industries
RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes a variety of complex process engineering computations, including process simulation modelling (steady & dynamic), particularly for gas and water gathering networks
Prepare hydraulic modelling reports and associated line lists
Support development of key Process Engineering drawings including P&IDs, PFDs, heat and material balances
Participate in key risk review workshops including HAZOP and HAZID studies
Provide mentoring and support to junior engineers
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Chemical Engineering
Able to apply the theories, codes and standards appropriate to the Process discipline
Design engineering related experience within the Hydrocarbon industry and more specifically in the Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas production industry - preferred
Experience of participation in HAZOP, HAZID and SIL rating studies - preferred
Experience with Hysys essential, UniSim experience highly regarded
RPEQ is required for this role
