Lead Process Engineer

Fyfe's Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas, renewables, and hydrogen projects across the country. Additionally, Fyfe is actively involved in helping our clients with their Energy transition goals across a broad range of solutions including hydrogen and biogas.
The Role
Were currently recruiting a full-time Lead Process Engineer to join our Queensland Team. This is a Brisbane based role, offering a competitive salary + relocation allowance and the chance to be a key player in our expanding work in the renewables sector, specifically Hydrogen, Biogas, and other related fields. This role will see you utilise your strong leadership capabilities to manage a dynamic team of engineers on a range of exciting projects.
Relocation assistance will be provided from anywhere in Australia.
Other Duties:
Discipline Team Lead for Brisbane office-based Process Engineering team
Mentoring and training junior engineers
Preparation and review of engineering design documents
Tender estimation
Perform the Lead Engineer role in HAZOPs and LOPAs
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering
RPEQ/ Chartership accreditation is ideal
Demonstrated experience in a previous mentorship role
Australian CSG gathering and brownfields experience is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of applicable industry Codes & Standards including API 520 / 521, AS 60079 and AS 2885
Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
