The Opportunity
This is a legacy executive position which will oversee a diverse portfolio made up of the follow services lines: Support Coordination, Daily Living, Supported Independent Living and Community Participation.
Reporting to the Diocesan Chief Executive, the Executive Director NDIS & Community will:
Lead the delivery of clinical care services within best practice clinical governance.
Lead change by anticipating requirements for the future and actively work to improve team outcomes, the Diocese and adding value to our community.
Ensure a staff focus on quality, client centred approaches and resident satisfaction.
Contribute to and support the implementation of the organisation’s strategic vision and plan.
Ensure effective incident management systems are linked to risk management continuous improvement.
Ensure ongoing registration and implementation of quality assurance measures required of an NDIS provider.
About You
For this appointment, Newcastle Anglican are seeking an established executive leader within the Human Services sector with a demonstrated history of leading geographically dispersed teams driving exceptional service delivery and outcomes for clients. Candidates with the following experiences and skillsets are encouraged to apply:
Tertiary qualification in Health, Social Work or relevant discipline.
5+ years of experience at a senior level across Community and Home Care and/or disability services.
Demonstrated ability to increase the commercial value of business streams.
Experience in funding negotiation and contract management.
Ability to think strategically and be a change agent.
Demonstrated experience using effective governance frameworks to ensure ethical use of financial resources and professional standards of planning and budgeting.
Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions in the
National Police Check and current driver’s licence.
