Key responsibilities

• Delivery of personalised support services to clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of care and compassion
• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Working collaboratively as a team to maintain safe, consistent and high quality support for clients
• Advocate for client rights and ensure they have access to the resources and services they require
• Maintain detailed records and documentation to track client progress and support service delivery
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

About you

• Certificate 3 Individual Support (Aging, Disability, Home and Community)
• NDIS Worker Screening Card & Blue Card
• Queensland Drivers Licence
• Experience in providing personalised support services to individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
• Reliability, accountability, and professionalism
• Initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility with availability, including weekdays, evenings, nights and weekends
