Job Description

Morgan Consulting Engineers is looking for an Administration Assistant to join our Brisbane-based office.

This is a varied and busy role providing administrative support across our engineering departments and working closely with managers, engineers, clients and the broader Administration team.

The role would suit someone who is organised, enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. You will be supported to learn our systems and processes and develop your knowledge across different areas of the business.

The Role

• Setting up new projects, job numbers and electronic filing systems
• Preparing and coordinating proposals and associated documentation
• Liaising with clients to obtain information and coordinate bookings
• Coordinating inspections and issuing reports and certifications
• Preparing and sending project documentation to clients
• Maintaining project information, spreadsheets and internal systems
• Assisting with soil testing administration and associated documentation
• Providing general administrative support across our engineering departments
• Working collaboratively with the Administration team to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Assisting with general and ad hoc administrative tasks as required, including occasional errands and collections

About You

• Previous experience in an administration or office support role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines
• A proactive approach and ability to self-check your work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence communicating with clients, managers and colleagues
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support the broader team
